This is a painting was created by Pablo Picasso. The painting was called The Weeping Woman. It was made on October 26,1937. The painting has a lot of shapes and colors. The type of work that was used was cubism. You can tell that they had used this type of art work. There is a lady sitting and looking terrified like something had happened and she was afraid to tell someone. I see many different shapes, like triangles, ovals, rectangles, also I see different colors like red, yellow, black, white, brown, purple, and green. From my point of view I like the painting.
The nose was repeated in the shape of the triangle on the top of the ladies hat. I see many different repetition in this picture. Like triangles, rectangles, and squares. In this picture it could of had a little better of an understanding in the picture because when I first saw this picture I was confused on what the picture was until I realized the title of the painting.
The artists feeling was sad or crying. There message to the people is probably to tell people its ok to show your feelings or express them.
